JLu is Giving Your Juice a Zing with Key Limes!

This week, we are so excited about Key Limes! Let me tell you why...

The sour taste, of key lime, encourages the stomach to secrete digestive enzymes, which in turn promotes more optimal digestion of the foods we eat. At the basis of good health, proper digestion is essential. Even if we are eating a nutrient rich diet, our digestion needs to be strong in order to break down nutrients and utilize them. Juicing offers the unique ability to not only give our digestion a break, it also works to improve it greatly by alkalizing the stomach.
