The sour taste, of key lime, encourages the stomach to secrete digestive enzymes, which in turn promotes more optimal digestion of the foods we eat. At the basis of good health, proper digestion is essential. Even if we are eating a nutrient rich diet, our digestion needs to be strong in order to break down nutrients and utilize them. Nourish Thy Self with These Super Juices

1) Tomato juice

Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, which boosts the immune system, prevents blood clots, and reduces inflammation. Fresh pressed tomato juice makes it easier to  consume a higher quantity of this daily essential antioxidant compound, lypscene. Add a teaspoon of flax oil to your juice to aid with the absorption of lycopene.

2) Beet Juice
